A logo with the inscription vBook, trial version appears in the print templates. After 30 launches, the printing and merge mail features will be disabled, however, vBook continue to work.
Yes, it is; mail merge feature is detailed in vBook Help.
Under Mac OS X, the creation of PDF is handled natively by the system. In Works module, click Print and select Catalogue A4 (landscape orientation) or Catalogue A4 (portrait). In the printing dialog box, choose PDF> Save as PDF instead of clicking the Print button. Under Windows, you must install a virtual print driver; there are some available free on the Internet, such as PDF Creator.
Only one. But you can include multiple files (images, documents...) in one folder and compress it in. Zip, Rar, Sit, etc.. see vBook-integrated Help for more details.
Yes, vBook offers this possibility; you can import a folder of files in a single operation. The chapter Importing Data in vBook-integrated Help describe how to use this feature.
Yes, thanks to XML support. You can export your data to Excel, the e-mail clients, while database software (FileMaker, Microsoft Access, Lotus, etc.). And generally to any software that interpretes the XML (QuarkXpress, Adobe InDesign, etc.).
It may be, sometimes, that some pop-up windows do not appear when you click a link. You have probably installed security software (firewall, anti spyware, etc.) that prevents your browser (e.g. Internet Explorer) displaing the pop-up pages, considering them as advertising. To solve the problem, temporarily disable your security software or configure it to accept pop-ups. You must also enable JavaScript in your browser preferences.
You can access the sort feature through the button in the left bottom corner of the window. In the drop-down menus in the dialog box that appears, choose a sort criterion and the desired order (ascending or descending), then click OK. Example: If you select Availability as the sort criterion with Ascending Order, vBook display your works according to their availability; available works at the top of the list and sold works at the end.
You can associate the sorting feature with the search results.
Example: Click the Search button, select 'available' in the availability field, confirm research by the Return key (Mac) or Enter (Windows) and then apply your custom sort criteria. Then click the Print button and select the desired printer model (list price, labels, certificate of authenticity, etc.).
Activate vBook with parameters that we've sent. To do this, run vBook, go to Help > Enter the activation code and enter your user name and activation code. Click Activate. The inscription 'vBook, trial version' will disappear immediately from print templates, like all other limitations. Your copy of vBook became a 'final version'.
You can create a list of works by assigning a sequence number in the module Exhibitions.
