Purchasing and activation
Activate vBook
vBook is distributed as trial version with following restrictions:
- A logo with inscription vBook, trial version appears on the print templates.
- The trial period expires after 30 launchings of vBook. After the trial period has expired, the print and email merge features will be disabled.
- However, vBook will continue to work.
To activate the full version of vBook, you must buy a user licence to obtain an activation code which transforms the trial version into a full version. Once you received the activation code, choose Help -> Enter Activation Codefrom the menu bar, indicate it and click Activate.
When the full version is activated, logo disappears from the print templates.
Purchase vBook
vBook 2 integrates a PayPal payment solution. To buy an user licence for vBook, you need to complete following steps:
- Make sure you have internet access. If you have a firewall, it must be configured to allow vBook access the Internet.
- Launch vBook and choose Help -> Purchase from the menu bar.
- Choose the type of licence. If you purchase vBook for the first time, select Standard Licence. If you already have a previous version of vBook, choose Update Licence then click Continue.
- If you have selected Standard Licence, in the following window click Buy and wait for loading of the PayPal secure page. If you have selected Update Licence, you must enter the activation key of previous version of vBook before accessing the payment page.
- If you have a PayPal account, sign-up and click Connection. If you do not have a PayPal account, click the link Continue under the sentence Do not have a PayPal account? If you want to use another payment method, please contact us trough the form on the contact page of our website.
- Follow PayPal instructions and go to the end of the purchasing process. Once you have successfully finished the purchasing process, a confirmation page invites you to click the button Activate.
- Your copy of vBook will be activated immediately; you can begin working with the application in its full version. However, we will send you an email with your activation code. Do not lose this activation code. We recommend that you keep the activation code in a safe place in case you need to install the software again.
Note: Generally you should receive your activation code in 24 hours.
